Attica(Αττική)

This is the region of Greece where we live. It contains Athens and the surrounding areas. We are based in Agia Marina(Αγία Μαρίνα), with local towns great to stay at nearby Glyfada(Γλυφάδα), Vari(Vάρι), Vouligmeni(Βουλιαγμένη), Voula(Βούλα) and Lagonisi(Λαγονήσι).

Glyfada(Γλυφάδα) is the largest place with more going on and has direct rail links into Athens. For the other locations you can get a taxi or rent a car.

Getting Here and Around

Fly into Athens airport, you can easily grab a taxi outside the terminal or book one through an app (below). If you have rented a car then some services are in the terminal and others are out the terminal, go right until the end of the terminal where there is a small car park with shuttles parked for the different services.

Both apps are a similar price, Bolt has more availability but when at busier times Uber can be better.

Public Transport

You cannot buy tickets on the bus, tram or trains. You need to buy them from machines at major stations. I would recommend just using taxis/car most of the time. For going into Athens center it is best to get the train from Glyfada.
